Ingredients
- 500 grams Cabbage about half a big cabbage, chopped finely
- 3/4 cup Peas fresh or frozen
- 1 medium Onion finely chopped
- 4 small Green chillies finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1/2 to 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala
- 1.5 tablespoon Oil
- 1/4 cup Water

Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan. Add the cumin seeds and when they crackle, add the chopped onions and green chillies.
- Add a little salt and stir-fry until the onions are soft and change color.
- Add the chopped cabbage and peas and mix well.
- Add the turmeric powder, coriander powder and the garam masala and mix well to combine.
- Add the water and add some more salt. Mix well and close the pan with a lid. Cook covered for about 10 to 15 minutes or until the vegetables are cooked.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
Recipe Notes
Microwave Recipe:
- In a microwave safe bowl, put the oil , cumin seeds, chopped onions and green chillies. Microwave on 800W for 3 minutes.
- Into the same bowl, add the cabbage, peas, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala, water and salt to taste. Mix well and microwave covered on 700W for 8 to 10 minutes. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
