I have always felt there are way too many similarities in the design of the Swift and the Fabia. Have not had a chance to drive the Fabia but got a chance to park next to one and sneak a few photos off my mobile :-).<\/em><br \/>\n<\/span><br \/>\n<span><a href=\"http:\/\/cars.zimbly.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/230920090012.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-827 alignnone\" style=\"margin: 5px\" title=\"Swift and Fabia\" src=\"http:\/\/cars.zimbly.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/23092009-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"Swift and Fabia\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-826 alignnone\" style=\"margin: 5px\" title=\"Swift &amp; Fabia\" src=\"http:\/\/cars.zimbly.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/23092009001-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"Swift &amp; Fabia\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<em>(Please click on the thumbnails for larger versions)<\/em><br \/>\n<\/span><span><\/span><\/div>\n<h5>Design Similarities:<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Overall silhouette with tapering roof<\/li>\n<li>Glass house area tapering towards C-pillar<\/li>\n<li>Blacked out A pillar<\/li>\n<li>Bonnet line joining base of A pillar<\/li>\n<li>Other than the front grilles the bonnet outline is very similar<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Design Differences:<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>The Fabia is narrower by a little bit but longer than the Swift resulting in a longer rear door that doesnt taper as much.<\/li>\n<li>The Swift is a bit taller and wider while the Fabia seems lower and flatter.<\/li>\n<li>The Swift has better\u00a0curves \ud83d\ude09<\/li>\n<li>Headlamps, Grille, fog lamps are the key differences up front.<\/li>\n<li>The rear is different enough &#8211; the Swift shows its width with a portly rear.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<br \/>\n<span><strong>Related External Link: <\/strong>Also A bit dated comparison\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bsmotoring.com\/news\/skoda-fabia-12-vs-maruti-suzuki-swiftvs-hyundai-getz-13-wrong-shadered\/837\/1\" target=\"_blank\">between the Getz, Swift and Fabia by BS Motoring.com<\/a>.<br \/>\n<\/span><br \/>\n<span><strong>Question<\/strong>: <em>Are there other cars on the road that you think have such visual similarities ?
